"Skippy"

HETRA would like to thank the following volunteers for raising the funds to sponsor Skippy for one year: Pam Miya, Lisa Stillahn, Sonja Hampton, Lynette Molek,  and Joan Potter

Skippy is a 18 year old Quarter Horse Gelding owned by Katherine Smith of Omaha, Nebraska.  Skippy has been involved with HETRA for the past 9 years, and has been a great asset to the HETRA team.  Before coming to HETRA he was used as a fox hunting and trail horse.  Skippy is another one of our gentle giants.  Standing 16 hands tall he is a big teddy bear.  He enjoys working with some of  our independent riding students, and especially enjoys being groomed by the volunteers and students. Skippy currently resides at the Omaha barn.
