Smokey is a 18 year old Standardbred gelding owned by HETRA. His past life started with being a harness racer. After his retirement from racing he was trained by the Omaha Mounted Patrol as a patrol horse, and is now a great addition to our program.   Smokey’s past life as a mounted patrol horse has prepared him well for his new career as a therapy horse. Remember, ONLY YOU can help make Smokey Horse of the year!
